Dates and programme

Date 6.30 pm 8 pm
Thursday 10 September Rodrigo Costa Félix’s talk, “Le Fado et les Quartiers”; advertised duration 50 minutes Teresinha Landeiro; advertised duration 90 minutes
Friday 11 September “Do Bairro”, a film by Diogo Varela Silva; advertised duration 75 minutes Rodrigo Costa Félix and Ana Margarida Prado, “Les Quartiers de Lisbonne”

The official programme combines music, a talk, cinema and a photographic exhibition around fado and Lisbon’s neighbourhoods. Check admission to the accompanying activities separately: the concert price does not establish that they are free or included.

Who is performing?

Teresinha Landeiro headlines the first evening. Her concert is a different artistic programme from the duo appearing the next day, so the two dates are not repeat performances of the same show.

On 11 September, Rodrigo Costa Félix and Ana Margarida Prado explore Lisbon’s neighbourhoods through fado. Costa Félix’s introductory talk takes place the previous evening. Attending that talk before the duo’s concert therefore requires being in Rabat on both dates.

Three ticket categories for each night

The festival’s official ticket page links to two separate Guichet listings. Both displayed the following categories when checked on 5 September:

Seating category Advertised price per concert
Balcon 2 MAD 100
Balcon 1 MAD 160
Orchestre MAD 200

These are dated ticket observations, not a guarantee that seats remain available. Before paying, check the concert date, seating category, any fees and refund conditions. The listings reviewed did not confirm a two-day pass; two booking links should not be interpreted as one combined ticket.

Getting to Mohammed V Theatre

The theatre is on Avenue Al Mansour Addahbi in central Rabat. Plan the journey to the actual entrance, particularly when arriving by train. A concert ticket does not include transport or reserved parking.

Allow time for entry checks and seating before 8 pm. An accompanying event starting at 6.30 pm does not establish the opening time of the concert doors. Contact the venue or ticket seller before booking if you need accessible seating or information about children’s admission.

Planning your stay

Staying for both dates allows you to combine two concerts with the advertised activities, subject to their admission arrangements. Choose accommodation around your preferred return journey; no hotel partnership or special shuttle is confirmed here. Recheck transport times and the weather closer to departure.
