Thunderstorms and warning levels
The daily bulletin forecasts thundery showers over the Atlas, its eastern slopes and the Phosphate plateaus, with a risk of spillover into Chaouia in the evening. It also mentions showers and thunderstorms in Souss, the Rif and the south of the Oriental region.

When will temperatures fall?
For 7 September, DGM expects a marked temperature rise in the south, on the northern and central plains, in the Rif and on the western Mediterranean side. The heat warning runs until 9 September for the hottest group of provinces and until 8 September for another group. Those end dates do not guarantee immediate cooling everywhere.
